For the tenth year in a row, HGTV has built a house just brimming with technology to help its owners be safer, conserve energy, save money, and have more fun... and then they're giving that home away. With a little bit of luck and some time spent entering, you could be the winner of this amazing home.
And the house itself isn't all. The winner will also receive furnishings, $100,000 in cash, and a Mercedes-Benz SUV for a total prize value of $1,204,365.
If the winner doesn't want to take possession of this Wilmington, North Carolina house, they can also take a cash option making the prize worth about $757,830.

Grand Prize: The prize consists of the 2022 HGTV Smart Home in Wilmington, North Carolina including furnishings and artwork, $100,000 cash, and a 2022 Mercedes-Benz GLC 300 SUV automobile. The winner can also choose a cash option of $600,000 instead of the home, and still receive the furnishings, the $100,000, and the vehicle. (ARV: $1,204,365 or $757,830)

Online, you can enter once daily through the HGTV website alone. They are not offering entries through Discovery or any other site. Note that this year, HGTV is also not offering the alternate entry method that let you enter as often as you like by mail. You can only enter online.
The 2022 HGTV Smart Home winner will be chosen around June 16, 2022 by the sweepstakes administrator, Ritway. The winner will be notified between June 30 and July 30, 2022.
